Issued as Australian legal tender, the coin’s obverse depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the year-date and the monetary denomination.
The coin is housed in a presentation case and custom-designed shipper, accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
The iconic kangaroo is the third animal to grace the innovative Australian Map Shaped Coin Series. One of the most symbolic animals of Australia, the world-renowned kangaroo is well adapted to hop great distances in a land that offers scarce food and water.
