When five bats are depicted together it is said to be a visual representation of the Five Blessings which include longevity, wealth, health and composure, virtue, and the desire to die a natural death in old age.

Five Blessings Reverse Design
The reverse of the coin features five bats surrounding the Chinese character for fú, meaning prosperity, together with a mix of peonies and peach motifs. The design also features the inscription FIVE BLESSINGS and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
Australian Legal Tender
Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the monetary denomination, the coin’s weight and fineness, and the 2016 year-date are shown on the coin’s obverse.
The Perth Mint will release no more than 10,000 of the Five Blessings 2016 1oz Silver Coin.

The coin is housed in a classic presentation case and custom-designed shipper. Each coin is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
