Adorable Reverse Design
The coin’s reverse design features BUGS BUNNY, best known for his starring roles in the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of cartoons produced by Warner Bros. The popular character is being embraced by LOLA BUNNY, who was introduced as BUGS BUNNY’s girlfriend in the 1996 comedy Space Jam. The joyful couple are surrounded by red hearts. Also included in the design is the inscription ‘LOVESTRUCK’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
Official Commemorative Stamp
The envelope is stamped with an official $1 Australia Post stamp depicting a dove carrying a heart-shaped flower in its beak and postmarked for first date of issue 5 February 2019. In keeping with the lovestruck theme, the place of issue is Valentine NSW 2280.
