Coloured Reverse Design
The reverse of the coin portrays a coloured dragon guarding piles of treasure including coins, a crown, a chalice and jewels. A medieval style banner displays a silhouette of a dragon and the monetary denomination, with the inscription ‘dragon’ featured on a scroll.
Tuvalu Legal Tender
The Mythical Creatures – Dragon 2014 1oz Silver Proof Coin is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu and features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the 2014 year-date on its obverse.
Just 5,000 of these Mythical Creatures – Dragon coins will be released.
