Story

60th anniversary

Joyous festivities of 2012 marked the 60 years since the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. This majestic coin bears the instantly recognisable Imperial State Crown at its centre.

Stunning design

Designed by the Royal Mint, the coin depicts the Imperial State Crown worn by the Queen for her return to Buckingham Palace, and is representative of the monarchy and Her Majesty’s continuing reign. The inscriptions ‘TO REIGN AND SERVE’ and ‘A VOW MADE GOOD’ refers to The Queen’s coronation speech and the continual fulfillment of the vow she made that day.

The cupro-nickel coin is struck by the Royal Mint in brilliant uncirculated quality.
