Struck from aluminium bronze, the Australian coin portrays two rabbits beneath a budding branch. The design incorporates the Chinese character for ‘rabbit’, the inscription ‘RABBIT’, the 2023-year date and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
Illustrated presentation envelope
The coin is mounted on a delightfully illustrated envelope bearing representations of leaping rabbits with symbolic clouds and floral emblems.
Official Australia Post stamps
The commemorative Australia Post AUD 3.60 and AUD 1.20 stamps affixed to the envelope are stamped with a rabbit-styled post mark and the words ‘FIRST DAY OF ISSUE 17 JANUARY 2023 CHRISTMAS ISLAND WA 6798’.
