Finding Nemo

Finding Nemo was created by Pixar Animation Studios (Pixar), a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company in 2006. In the tropical waters of the Great Barrier Reef, curious clownfish Nemo lives in his anemone home with his dad, Marlin. Having led a protected life, Nemo is eager to start school and explore the reef that surrounds it. But when he strays too far, it’s up to his dad to embark on an epic journey to save his only son.

Coloured design

Beautifully represented in colour, Nemo is pictured among corals with Dory, the regal blue tang fish, grinning in the background. Included in the design are the inscriptions ‘Disney 100’ and ‘©Disney/Pixar’, as well as The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
