Harry Potter™ is a series of seven fantasy novels by J.K Rowling following the life of young wizard Harry and his friends as they navigate the wizarding world and the rising evil of Lord Voldemort.

The Patronus is the most famous defensive charm in the wizarding world. Producing a silver-white guardian taking the form of an animal, it is the only effective spell used against Dementors and each patronus has its own symbolic meaning drawn from one’s true self. Harry’s patronus manifests itself in the form of a stag, a symbol of rebirth and resurrection, similarly to his parents patronus’ (a doe for his mother and stag for his father) who both died trying to protect him.
