30 years of ‘The Circle of Life’

Released in 1994, The Lion King marks its 30^th anniversary this year and is regarded as one of Disney’s most known and beloved animated films. Following the story of Simba, a young lion cub and heir of his father’s pride, audiences are entranced with a story of love, friendship, and terrible betrayal.

Iconic character design

Officially licensed, the reverse design includes a coloured image of Simba along with silver renditions of African animals. The words 'CIRCLE OF LIFE' are included at across the top of the reverse, referencing not only the iconic song made for this film, but also the ideology explored that every living thing exists as part of a delicate balance.
