Underwater antics

In the underwater city of Bikini Bottom, SpongeBob SquarePants is the fry cook at fast food restaurant The Krusty Krab, where his life revolves around a wacky ensemble of marine characters - customers, co-workers, friends, and rivals. In this absurd world, where his home is a pineapple shared with a pet snail that meows like a cat, the animated chronicles of the optimistic and enthusiastic yellow sea sponge represent an undisguised celebration of innocent nonsense.

Coloured design

The coin portrays SpongeBob SquarePants within a circular pattern. 24-carat gilding adorns the character’s head, arms, tie and pants, as well as the coin’s rims and serrated edge. Also in the design is the official ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’ logo and flower-shaped cloud motifs.
