Story
Beloved marsupial
As well as their trusted weight and purity, Australian Koala Silver Bullion Coins boast superb annual artistry capturing the essence of these gentle creatures. In 2025, the design depicts a day in the life of the koala, high up in the tranquil sanctuary of the eucalyptus tree canopy.
2025 koala design
The coin portrays an adorable koala lying on a tree branch amongst eucalyptus foliage. Included on the reverse are the inscriptions ‘KOALA’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark, along with the coin’s weight, purity and 2025 year-date.
Authentication feature
For additional peace of mind, the coin incorporates an authentication feature in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter. Detectable under a magnifying glass, it’s designed to make it significantly more difficult for the coin to be counterfeited.

The coin is presented in a protective acrylic capsule.
