The Perth Mint delivers record result and record return to Western Australia

Gold Corporation, trading as The Perth Mint, has delivered the strongest financial result in its 127-year history, reporting record revenue of $44.23 billion and a record profit before tax of $100.19 million in 2025-26.
The result will see a record dividend of $47.7 million returned to the people of Western Australia through the State Government.
Chair John Van Der Wielen said the result demonstrated the strength of the organisation following a period of significant transformation.
"This is a record result that reflects the quality of our people, the strength of our strategy and the importance of The Perth Mint to Western Australia's economy," Mr Van Der Wielen said.
"The Perth Mint is one of the State's largest exporters and a globally significant precious metals business. This result allows us to continue creating value for Western Australia while investing for future growth."
The record performance was driven by strong demand for precious metals products and services, growth in customer holdings and the benefits of major investments made across refinery, coining and customer operations over recent years.
Chief Executive Officer Paul Graham said 2025-26 marked the beginning of a new phase for the organisation.
"Over the past several years, we have invested significantly in modernising our operations, strengthening governance and building capability across the business," Mr Graham said.
"This result demonstrates those investments are delivering. It also reflects the exceptional effort of more than 800 employees who have helped position The Perth Mint as a stronger, safer and more customer-focused organisation."
Beyond its financial performance, The Perth Mint continued to make a significant contribution to the Western Australian economy through exports, tourism, employment and support for local suppliers.
During the year, The Perth Mint welcomed more than 316,000 visitors to its East Perth precinct, strengthened its position as a globally recognised leader in precious metals, and continued investing in the capabilities and infrastructure needed to support future growth.
Together, these achievements demonstrate an organisation that is well-positioned for continued sustainable growth and long-term value creation for Western Australia.
