Iconic kangaroo design
The coin’s iconic design portrays a bounding kangaroo surrounded by stylised rays of bursting sunlight. Inscriptions on a wavy-lined border include ‘AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO’ and the coin’s weight, purity, and year-date, together with The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark. The coin’s obverse depicts the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III.
Authentication feature
The coin incorporates an authentication feature on the reverse. In the form of a micro-laser engraved letter, it is only detectable under a magnifying glass.
Tubes and monster box
Featuring a tamper evident security seal, tubes contain 25 coins each. A free monster box is supplied with orders for 10 tubes (250 coins). These boxes are suitable for secure storage in third-party safe deposit boxes.
