The Australian Swan is a limited mintage bullion coin series featuring elegant designs of the waterbird that glides majestically across the estuaries, inlets and rivers in which it lives and breeds. The 2026 coin features the tenth design from this popular series which continues to boast a strong track record of sell outs.
2026 swan design
The coin’s reverse depicts a magnificent swan soaring above a picturesque lake set amongst a tranquil countryside. Behind the swan, a brilliant sky stretches across the horizon with drifting clouds. Also included in the design is the inscription ‘2026 1oz 9999 AUSTRALIAN SILVER SWAN’ and a ‘P10’ mintmark, signifying the tenth anniversary of the swan design released by The Perth Mint. The coin’s obverse depicts the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III and the monetary denomination.
Authentication feature
The coin incorporates an authentication feature on the reverse. In the form of a micro-laser engraved letter, it is only detectable under a magnifying glass.
