Story

Luan and Feng

According to traditional Chinese culture, the magnificent imagery of two phoenixes appearing together paints a powerful symbol of harmony and unity, epitomising the proverb that 'good things come in pairs'. Often referred to as 'Luan and Feng' or 'Phoenix', these figures represent the harmonious love between spouses.

Double phoenix design

The coin portrays two crested birds  gazing at one another with affection. Included in the design is the symbol double happiness, stylised representations of clouds, along with the 2025 year-date and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.

Presentation

The coin is presented in a protective acrylic capsule.
