Story

Harmonious duo

According to traditional Chinese culture, the magnificent imagery of two phoenixes appearing together paints a powerful symbol of harmony and unity, epitomising the proverb that 'good things come in pairs'.

Double phoenix design

The coin’s reverse portrays two crested birds gazing at one another with affection. Often referred to as 'Luan and Feng' or 'Phoenix', these figures represent the harmonious love between spouses. Included in the design is the symbol for 'double happiness', stylised representations of clouds, along with the 2026 year-date and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark. The coin’s obverse portrays the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, along with the coin’s weight, purity, and monetary denomination.

Presentation packaging

The coin is presented in a protective acrylic capsule.
