Legendary creature

In Chinese mythology, the dragon is revered as a majestic, serpentine creature embodying strength, wisdom, and prosperity. It is celebrated as a guardian of the natural world, believed to command rain, rivers, and the heavens. Often depicted with flowing whiskers, scaled bodies, and a noble presence, the Eastern dragon symbolises potent power, harmony, and abundant good fortune, serving as a timeless emblem of imperial authority.

Detailed dragon design

The coin’s reverse features an Eastern dragon, its claws outstretched in a fierce snarl, with its body adorned with finely detailed scales. The design incorporates the inscription '2026’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.

Authentication feature

The coin incorporates an authentication feature on the reverse. In the form of a micro-laser engraved letter, it is only detectable under a magnifying glass.

Presentation packaging
