Story

Australian landmark

Mark a milestone in Australian numismatic history with this 2025 Mintmark and Privy Mark Four-Coin Set, commemorating the 60th Anniversary of the Royal Australian Mint. This limited-edition collection pays tribute to six decades of craftsmanship, innovation, and national pride. Opened in 1965 by H.R.H. Prince Philip, the Mint was established to produce Australia's decimal currency, making a significant shift towards economic independence. Located in Canberra, it was the first mint in Australia not to operate as a branch of the British Royal Mint, symbolizing a new era for the nation.
