Featuring 24-carat gilding, this very special release celebrating the 2017 Year of the Rooster is not to be missed. Each coin is struck from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver.
Gilded design
The reverse of the coin depicts a rooster, gilded in 24-carat gold, a hen, and three chicks standing amongst bamboo and flowers. The Chinese character for ‘rooster’ and the inscription ‘Year of the Rooster’ also appear in the design with The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark.

Each coin is housed in a classic black and red display case and illustrated shipper and is accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity.
