Auspicious design
A wonderful tribute to the enterprising lunar mouse, the first animal in the Chinese zodiac, this 1oz silver coin features a spectacular centrepiece of a mouse motif crafted from Australian opal.
The coin’s reverse incorporates an inner panel design of a mouse created in pure Australian opal. The coin’s outer ring features intricate patterning with depictions of stylised lily of the valley flowers and other foliage. The design includes the inscription ‘YEAR OF THE MOUSE’ and the Chinese character for ‘mouse’ together with the 2020-year date, the weight and purity, and The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark.
Presentation packaging and numbered certificate
