A rare masterpiece crafted from 1kg of 99.99% pure gold, this flawlessly struck Wedge-tailed Eagle coin has an extremely limited mintage of just 10. It sold out in 2018 and 2019 featuring John M. Mercanti's design and has been sought after among collectors.

Soaring design

The coin’s reverse depicts a magnificent wedge-tailed eagle in flight with wings fully extended and stylised rays of sunlight in the background. The design also includes the inscription ‘AUSTRALIAN WEDGE-TAILED EAGLE’, the 2019 year-date, weight and fineness, and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
