Story

Harmonious duo

In traditional Chinese culture, when two phoenixes appear together, they symbolise a harmonious duo and that good things come in pairs.

Coloured design

The coin’s coloured reverse portrays two crested birds gazing at one another with affection. Often referred to as 'Luan and Feng' or 'Phoenix', these figures represent the harmonious love between spouses. Included in the design is the symbol double happiness, stylised representations of clouds, along with the 2026 year-date and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
