Experiment number 626
June 26 or '626' Day celebrates Disney’s Stitch, the cute yet bonkers galactic character that is given the experiment number 626. The Disney Stitch - Surf’s Up 2025 coin is inspired by the beloved Lilo & Stitch universe, where Stitch finds himself embracing the Hawaiian way of life with his new friend Lilo, a spirited young girl who adopts him. The story celebrates loyalty, friendship and ohana.
Surf's up design
Carefully minted from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver, this officially licensed collectable brings Disney’s Stitch to life in stunning colour, capturing his energetic spirit as he surfs with pure excitement. The two stripes on his board have been left engraved, and shine in mirror-finish; a frosted rim completes the design.
The obverse is applied in mirror-finish with a frosted pattern. Included in the design is the Public Seal of Niue, monetary denomination, size, purity, year-date, and the coin's unique number in the mintage.
Themed packaging
The coin is secured in a themed yellow box featuring illustrated depictions of the Hawaiian landscape, the official Disney Stitch logo, and a hibiscus flower motif. Printed on the back of the box is a certificate of authenticity.
