The Chinese dragon is an ancient symbol of wealth and power. Believed to have divine origins, it is revered as a wise and benevolent creature which can bestow blessings on the community.

Coiled dragon design

The coin depicts a stylised representation of a Chinese dragon displaying bulging eyes, fearsome jaws, curved horns, and a long, snake-like body that is coiled in tight rings. Also included in the design is The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
