Story

Incinerating foes

In European mythology, dragons are represented as fire-breathing, lizard-like monsters that can fly. When provoked to anger, they are capable of incinerating foes with scorching breath. They also love gold, hoarding and guarding it fiercely in subterranean lairs.

Vivid colour

The coin portrays a vividly coloured image of a dragon at night. The creature is perched on the ruins of a gothic building, wings outstretched with flames streaming from its red-hot jaws.
