Perth expo ANDA special
The long-running Australian Lunar Coin Series celebrates the 12 animals of the ancient lunar calendar. This special 2021 coin marks the astrological ox, whose rule over every second year in the 12-year lunar cycle is said to influence people born during 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009 and 2021.
Year of the ox design
The coin’s reverse depicts a coloured image of an ox and a calf standing on grass with hills in the background. As well as the inscription Year of the Ox and the Chinese character for ‘ox’, the design also incorporates The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
ANDA Perth packaging
Accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity, the coin is housed in a display case and themed shipper featuring the ANDA logo alongside the dates of the Perth Money Expo.
