The coin’s coloured reverse portrays a kangaroo bounding along the Australian coastline with the vivid hues of sunset reflecting on the ocean in the background. The design includes The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark, the inscription ‘AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO’, along with the coin’s weight, purity and 2026 year-date featured on a pattern of undulating lines.
