Tottenham Hotspur, commonly called 'Spurs', is a football club from north London founded in 1882 (originally as Hotspur FC) that turned professional in 1895, and quickly established itself as one of England’s historic clubs. The club has won multiple major trophies including two top‑flight league titles, eight FA Cups, four League Cups, the European Cup Winners’ Cup (1963), and multiple UEFA Cup/Europa League titles, reflecting a long tradition of cup success. 

Tottenham Hotspur secured the 2025 UEFA Europa League title by beating Manchester United 1–0 in the final at San Mamés Stadium in Bilbao, ending a 17‑year wait for major silverware for the club.
