100 years of Ford Australia
The FG XR8 Falcon was a powerful eight-cylinder car launched in 2014. Its successor, the FG-X XR8, was the last locally manufactured V8 Ford car.
FG-X XR8 Falcon design
The coin’s reverse features a coloured image of a Ford FG-X XR8 Falcon, set against a background of a tyre pattern. Included in the design is the Ford 100 Years logo and the inscriptions '100 YEARS OF FORD AUSTRALIA 2025' and ‘FG-X XR8 FALCON - 2014’.
Australia Post stamp
The official $1.70 Australia Post stamp features the Ford FG-X XR8 Falcon against a black and white photograph of the Broadmeadows Assembly Plant. The official postmark comprises the official Ford 100 Years logo, accentuated by three stars on either side and the wording '1 DECEMBER 2025 GEELONG VIC 3220'.
Presentation envelope
The coin is housed in a blue-coloured presentation envelope with a depiction of the iconic automobile. Also featured are the inscriptions '2014' and 'FG-X XR8 FALCON', along with the official Ford 100 Years logo.
