100 years of Ford Australia
The XA Falcon GT was the first fully locally designed Falcon when launched in 1972. With a powerful V8 engine and bold design, it became an Australian cultural icon.
XA Falcon design
The coin’s reverse features a coloured image of a Ford XA Falcon GT Hardtop, set against a background of a tyre pattern. Included in the design is the Ford 100 Years logo and the inscriptions '100 YEARS OF FORD AUSTRALIA 2025' and ‘XA FALCON GT HARDTOP - 1972’.
Australia Post stamp
The official $1.70 Australia Post stamp features the Ford XA Falcon against a black and white illustration of the vehicle. The official postmark comprises the official Ford 100 Years logo, accentuated by three stars on either side and the wording '1 DECEMBER 2025 GEELONG VIC 3220'.
Presentation envelope
The coin is housed in a yellow-coloured presentation envelope with a depiction of the iconic automobile. Also featured are the inscriptions '1972' and 'XA FALCON', along with the official Ford 100 Years logo.
