Bottlenose dolphin
Bottlenose dolphins are fascinating marine mammals known for their intelligence, playful behaviour, and friendly nature. They thrive in warm and temperate seas around the world – including the waters surrounding Australia. Active day and night, these amazing creatures weigh 300kg on average, and can grow up to four metres in length. Fast and athletic, they can attain speeds above 30km/h and can soar six meters into the air! Known for their advanced communication skills, they use a variety of clicks, whistles, and body movements to interact. They also demonstrate problem-solving, tool use, and even self-recognition in mirrors!
Striking design
