2024 kangaroo design
The coin portrays our most iconic marsupial about to leap across a dry creek bed with a windmill and water tank in the background. As well as the inscription ‘AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO’, the reverse includes a ‘P125’ mintmark signifying The Perth Mints 125th anniversary in 2024.
H.M. King Charles III effigy
The coin’s obverse portrays the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, and the monetary denomination.
Stylish presentation card
The tiny coin is housed in a protective acrylic capsule incorporated within a neat wallet-sized card illustrated with the image of a kangaroo.
