Important service update

High demand for products

Due demand for our bullion products there are currently delays in processing and dispatching orders. We are working as hard as we can to process and dispatch orders as quickly as possible.  

We understand that our response times across the business including Customer Operations, Depository, in-store and online are longer than usual and appreciate your patience as we strive to serve you as soon as we are able. Where possible, we recommend using our Enquiry and feedback form to avoid the longer than usual phone queues.

In-store wait times

Due to influx of visitors to our store, wait times for purchasing bullion have increased significantly. We are managing demand with a queuing system, which is reaching capacity much earlier than usual. We will post a message on website when capacity is reached for the day to avoid inconveniencing you.

It is imperative you note the ID requirements before your visit, or contact the customer operations team for guidance to ensure you understand the requirements.

Delivery and collection processes

Restrictions on deliveries to unattended delivery locations

Orders from The Perth Mint can no longer be delivered to unattended delivery locations. For successful delivery, customers will need to have either a residential or commercial address. Unattended delivery locations include: PO boxes (of any type), parcel lockers, locked bags, private bags, common boxes, private posting boxes, combined box/locked bag services, roadside mailboxes.
