Policy and governance

The Perth Mint’s integrated operations in the precious metals industry are overseen by Gold Corporation on behalf of the West Australian Government.

Our activities include gold and silver refining, manufacturing bullion bars, coins and minted products, investment products, retail and tourism.

As a government-owned trading entity, a significant amount of our revenue goes to the state government for the provision of vital services such as healthcare, education and infrastructure. See our annual reports for more information.
