The Perth Mint is committed to an equitable and merit-based recruitment process to ensure our organisation has a skilled and diverse workforce.
Our process
Positions are advertised on relevant recruitment sites and applications can be made via our talent platform. Shortlisted candidates will undergo phone screening, psychometric testing and interviews as well as due diligence such as reference and police checks.
We aim to contact all candidates within two weeks of an advertisement closing.

What is LiveHire?
LiveHire, also known as HumanForce, is our talent platform that helps to streamline the recruitment process while building and maintaining talent pools.

What will the interview involve?
Interviews will be conducted by the hiring manager and either a talent acquistion team member or representative from another team relevant to the role. The interview will include behavioural and job specific questions. We also encourage candidates to ask questions.

Why do shortlisted candidates need to complete psychometric testing?
Psychometric testing forms part of our recruitment strategy and helps us to understand your behavioural traits, work style and interpersonal skills.

What checks are required?
Preferred candidates will be required to complete reference checks, a national police clearance and hold valid working rights. Certain roles also require a pre-employment medical which includes drug and alcohol testing.

What is the onboarding process?
Within the first few days, new employees will receive information from their manager which covers of a tour of their work location, role expectations and introductions to the team and wider business.
Employees will also participate in a formal induction which will provide insights into working at The Perth Mint including information on safety and security.
